Profile

Dale is a dual qualified Chartered Quantity Surveyor and a Member of the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators. He has over 20 years’ experience working in a commercial capacity within a wide range of sectors including power, utilities, commercial, residential, education, healthcare and heavy industry. Dale has many years’ experience using standard forms of contract including JCT and FIDIC. Having gained experience working for both clients and contractors within the UK and overseas, he has a broad range of experience, from feasibility studies to final accounts.

Over the last 10 years, Dale has specialised in the application of the New Engineering Contract (NEC3/4) Engineering and Construction Contract (ECC). He has led procurement teams on many projects over £100m and workbooks in excess of £500m. Dale has also managed commercial teams in a post contract capacity, being responsible for NEC ECC contractual compliance and resolution of escalated issues.

Dale is also a qualified adjudicator and dispute resolver. Where necessary, he uses his experience, analytical skills and contractual understanding to assist clients in avoiding, managing and resolving disputes.

As well as holding a Degree in Minerals Surveying, Dale has a Master’s Degree in Construction Law, Arbitration and Adjudication. He is an RICS APC Assessor.
